Tara Lotz
Instructor
Tara is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trained in Hatha and Vinyasa. She has experience teaching hot and power yoga, but her real passion lies in making the principles of yoga accessible to all through classes rooted in a balance - between movement and mindfulness.
Growing up on a farm, Tara cultivated a love of animals, nature, and a slower, quieter pace of life when I was a child that has stayed with me ever since. When she discovered yoga as an adult and delved deeper into the principles of mind/body connection, it was a very natural next step.
Now as a stay-at-home mom of two, yoga is what keeps her grounded and centered. As an instructor, Tara loves holding space for others to experience this as well. Her goal as an instructor is to help students find balance on and off the mat through their yoga practice - A balance between movement and stillness, mindfulness and creativity, strength and softness.
Off the mat, I enjoy spending time at home with my family and in nature.
Tara: "I love all hobbies that spark creativity- art, gardening, cooking, traveling, home improvement projects, reading, and writing. It is rare for me to not be midway through a book, partway through a handful of home projects, while also brainstorming an idea a new art project."
Certifications: RYT200 Yoga Alliance Certified. CEUs in the subjects of mindfulness, meditation, and chakras. Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
